So here is what I have planned.

I'm going to take flight lessons starting immediately. Then hopefully by October I can fly a plane.....

Then I will get up Saturday morning at the crack of dawn, rent a plane, fly to Caldwell, hunt and then fly back and be back by say 9 PM. Yeah that's the ticket...

All truth aside...uh, I mean all kidding aside. I didn't plan on going to the hunt at all because I have been down in my back so bad lately. But in spite of my protest stoney56 staked me in that one hunt. I was sorry I couldn't produce for him, but I did my best. I really went over there in the first place because it was close to home and I knew some of my friends I've met over the years in metal detecting were going to be there. You're right , it's mostly about friends. Some of those club hunts are sheer luck and it takes a lot of speed to dig enough tokens to win a prize. I ain't a bad detectorist, but just don't have the speed to be competative because of my back. Just can't get up and down fast enough anymore. But I still love to get out and try. At least at the CT hunt I can dig at my own pace and don't have to compete with any youngsters. Can't wait! M nty

Ok I made a few calls it will cost $5,000 for the lessons and to rent the plane for 10/10 will be another $500 plus fuel so who has big pockets that wants to help me out

ME you have got to figure somthin out! Could we just come and kidnap your wife when she gets here, she'll enjoy herself, even if shes mad at you seeing the happenings a the watering hole has got to change her mind,
then you tell the kids this is the CT version of Disneyworld! And that way you will be here, and you won't have to worry about anybody!

ME, I'd love to help but MG is a bit slow on repairing holes in my pockets..think it's a conspiracy to make the money fall out where she can scoop it up. She also leaves it in the pockets so it'll come out in the wash.

You might ask Cynangyl what skydiving lessons will cost.

ME,we have a charter member in both the Rowdy Bunch and in the Lala Sisterhood and also the leader of the A$$'s who just happens to have a son who has a brand new pilot's license.I won't tell you who these members are, but I'm sure he would really like to fly Charlie,Nana and you to Caldwell if he was asked ever so sweetly.
