I am thinking so! I probably shouldn't have posted this until Burdie left, but I guess it is best to be warned. And WD there are no plastic bags in the trees. I found that a snake fits nicely into a shallow hole. (No feet you see!) OK gonna grab a bite to eat & go work on the deck some more! Charlie & Nana's Bed & Breakfast is about to open our doors.

You did good,Charlie.Great looking deck.Bed and Breakfast? From what I remember you saying about Nana,shouldn't it be Bed and Brunch? The deck really does look good.

Water seal did some one say water seal. Vicki will do a great job at that while I sip on some good Southern tea.

Thank you all as we know prayers work, the missing canoe folks were a family of 4 people. The grandma and her 3 grandchildren were found and are safe

July 5th we take off for the unknown. I will post each night if I can of what we do. I am beginning to believe we need a bigger vehicle. No honey we don't need to take the sprayer for Charlies deck. No we don't need to take the gun for Nana's snakes. Yes we do need to leave room for the driver.

hey BEF,how was the boat ride?

It was great, grandma and her 3 granddaughters were tubing not canoeing, somehow they went passed the pick up point and kept tubing down stream. For their money they went several several miles miles futher and then they realized they had gone to far so they pulled up to a bank and waited. Other than being in the dark, cold and hungry they were ok when found.

Charlie,please tell me you are not going to use Thompson water seal! That stuff just will not last,probably because it has wax in it and it washes away.Since this deck of ours cost 15K,I made a lot of inquiries and finally settled on CWF-UV.It went on great and has a terrific color(cedar).You can get a neutral but it won't look as good and besides the color helps protect also.And I know it's none of my business what you use,if anything,so do as you please and I'll still be happy with ya.
