Re: Cibola low tone ?'s

I just spoke to Tesoro about that very issue this morning.

They can retune the Cibola to be a high tone machine for $15. You can also buy a "high tone" Cibola directly from a dealer.

If you try it, don't like it, and want to shift back to the low tone, that'll be a another $15.

They said they created the Cibola with the lower tones because, no joke, there are apparently a lot of retirees using Tesoro and for a lot of them, their hearing isn't what it once was. The high tones were more difficult to hear, so they came out with the low tone as a standard. Easier on the ears.

Re: Cibola low tone ?'s

thanks Smudge; that is a little disconcerting to hear,no pun; as I am an old fart with bad hearing and the low tone
is just annoying. my minelab has a nice and easy to hear high tone. guess I'll send it in, thanks..

Re: Cibola low tone ?'s

Sure. You aren't the first. A lot of folks said they prefer the high tones, which is way Tesoro made it available I suppose. I know I like it better. Those low tones are kind of annoying after awhile.

Re: Cibola low tone ?'s

i've had both toned machines and i actually prefered the low tone machines better, to me i can hear the break ups in the signals better

Re: Cibola low tone ?'s

Guess it will take some getting used to; but "zut zut zut" sounds like an iron rejection to me.........I like something sharp and
loud..
