Hi All,
Could this be some kind of Jewellery? Its Grayish (now) in colour, so I'm thinking Pewter. It weighs 20.8g The diameter across the widest part almost 4cm. 2 sets of double circles on one side, nothing on the reverse.
It showing some 'rust' staining at the pierced part - Could have looked good hanging around the neck :icon_scratch:

Found in stubble field where I found the Elizabeth I Half-groat last year.
Any ideas?

Yep I would say most definately the ink well lid. the rust is caused by the ferrous base pin that went through the hole connecting the lid to the lower half.
