Civil war button???

I went out tonight for a few hours to one of my permissions that has always been good to me. The property has always produced something nice each time I go out there,

And today I think I may have found a civil war button, but I am not sure of the variety.

Here's my best guess.....pretty sure the stars in the shield date it to post civil war

think Tedyoh got it right - I got a staff officer coat and a cuff this past Dec on a CW hunt - mine look similar but mine are CW era
