Thanks Darren for sharing this History and story with us. Made my day. Reminds me of back when they raised the Hunley. A Great piece of Southern History.

The Hunley is a fascinating piece of shipwreck history. I was there just after they raised her and began her electrolysis bath at the Warren Lasch Conservatory Center. Anyone not familiar with her history should do a google search on the little submarine that could, and read up on her. Take special note of Lt. Dixon's gold coin.
