It was a beautiful (albeit a bit hot still) day, so I decided to go to my permission spot and brave the weeds. I found a little hollow that was relatively clear, and gave it a good going over. First find was the .46 Sharps Multi-Ring!!! I've never found one before, and to my knowledge nobody else has on this specific battlefield. Right next to it was a fired and mangled 3-Ringer and also a .69 round ball. The finds started stacking up as the day progressed, with multiple buckshot, more fired 3-Ringers, another .69 ball, and then shell fragments! I believe that the half-circle piece is part of an iron sabot, but if I am wrong someone please correct me!
Also, does anyone know what the buckle is from? I was thinking probably horse tack. Thanks for looking, and happy hunting y'all!
