So I'm looking for a guide to all things Civil War, in regards to relics that we dig up (bullets, buttons, buckles, artillery projectiles/fragments, etc). Preferably in the form of a physical book or an internet database of sorts, with detailed color photos, descriptions and info on items. Just something useful to identify what I dig up. I haven't been able to find much so I thought I'd check with my fellow diggers and see what you all recommend.
The one book that I've found is called Warman's Civil War Collectibles, 3rd ed. and is priced at $45 + shipping on Amazon (not eligible for Prime
). A little bit much, if you ask me.
