I met up with the Good ole boys Saturday high atop "Rocky Top" That's Tennessee for those who were wondering :laughing7: Guy Lambert, and Randy Schuh of TN. accompanied me on yet another great gathering. Sometimes we don't find too much, but our friendship out weighs the finds, and we have some fun hunts together. I fired up the Minelab GPX with the 15x12 Commander coil as a test to see what we were possibly missing with our other machines we have used there in the past. Once again, I think the GPX made believers out of us. Unlike the mineralized Northern Va. soil we battle, this soil in the forest is mostly neutral. The GPX got some crazy depth and handled better than expected with moderate trash targets mixed in. I really like the fashioned poker chip and 2 Grape shots. Thanks again to my Rocky Top buddies for having me out.

Thanks for looking

Sweet digs Mike. Really like your iron balls ;D

Killin' it with that GPX Mike,I'm still trying to learn the TDI if I can ever drop the good ole' MXT :laughing7: Great dig's!!

Nice finds Mike. I had a great time hunting with you as well. That GPX did a great job in the woods and I can't wait to see how it does at our other campsite we haven't hunted yet. It will be nice to hunt an open field for a change, lol.

Looks like the GPX is a killer machine!

Great digs!!!

We all had a great time buddy, the GPX made a believer out of me last year at culpeper, I was amazed at you digging all those bullets amongst all those previous holes, and my mxt not even nulling on good targets, from that day on I wanted to see that machine in Tennessee, well no surprise it was a monster. Let me tell everyone that we have hunted the site Mike was hunting to death with a multitude of machines, I personally have pounded it every direction with my mxt and my etrac when I still had it,
the area he hunted was about 50x50 yards and I'm absolutely amazed he dug that from an area I have put so much time in!!!!! I can't wait to see that GPX hit more ground in our so called hunted out spot
.Thanks for coming down buddy, it had been to long, lets do it sooner next time.
Guy

It was great to see you too Guy. Let's plan something this month after the guy in the red suit flies back. lol

The ET3 (East Tennessee Three) had a great hunt Mike. Buttons look good. Randy and Guy are good fellas. HH to all 3 of you, Quindy.

OMG Guy got a picture of me. I had my camera in my backpack and I was concentrating so much on targets I forgot to take pictures. Sorry guys. I promise to take more next time.
