I have been digging in the same spot for awhile and have dug up some decent CW relics. Mixed in the same area I have been finding these iron pieces all at the same depth as the relics. I can't seem to figure out what they are. They don't seem thick enough to be a shell fragment. They may just be junk. I have actually tossed a few, but I thought I would check before I toss anymore. They are all similar in size. I found them in NC. Thanks in advance for any help. 001.JPG 002.JPG

Most of your cannon ball fragments are either gonna be round or cylindrical and pretty small diameter.
