✅ SOLVED Civil War Whatzit

[Patriot Relics]

Hey guys,

Recovered this from a civil war site a few weeks ago and am looking for a bit of help with an ID. It is about the size of a quarter, copper, and has 4 clips on the back (perhaps to mount to clothing?). Any ideas
