Just working out how to post pics etc, But saw this interesting vehicle at my local park in the UK today. Tend to see plenty of Mustangs etc but very few American pickups

Ford's ain't so bad either. I got this one on January 6th 2006 (1st Pic) and before I gave the guy the 3800 bucks with 116K miles on it. I laid my hands on it and it and knew then it had a powerful spirit about it. So I said to it, your coming with me there little pony. This little six banger Ford has taken me many many miles with very little fuss from it, It just loves to hit the road. Here it is in the last picture 10 years later just this week sitting at 12'000 feet as it is still going with 314'000 on it now. Don't get me wrong I've had Chevy's and they are sure beautiful and all and preform wonderfully, but that may be why they tend to complain some as they have a bit of a spirit of vanity about them with all their beauty and power. They kind of raise a fuss when they need to go through millions of bugs, deep muddy roads, hellish snowstorms, steep inclines and all that. They like being out where everyone can see them, which is okay, because they sure are a sight to look at and drive.

If I could have a truck with a Ford engine, a Chevy transmission, and the over all indestructibility of a Dodge, that would be the thing. Maybe more of a Chevy body style, but that wouldn't matter to me much. As long as it was black.

I don't think I'll ever get another Toyota for long hauling again. Timing belts (or chains) are a not such a good idea for any engine outside of an Indy car motor IMO.
