claw?

found this in the western end of virginia while detecting an early 1900s website. seems like its made of bone. doesnt seem like a fossil to me but this is the best place i could think of to have it possible identified. thanks for your time.

I agree with David . . . a pig (Sus scrofa) lower canine. Here's an image of a similar tooth from a peccary:
