While working on a part my house that has no foundation under it I dug up a clay pipe with the initials T D on it. It is the second clay pipe that I have unearthed on my property.

Got any pictures?

Welcome to the forum from Niagara Falls. Any photos of the pipe would be nice. Thanks

If you are finding clay pipes like that you should detect your property! I've found a couple TD pipes in Massachusetts. I want to say they are made in Scotland. Is there anything on the stem to indicate where it was made?

Nice find...photos please. :icon_thumleft:

I have one with TD on it as well. Stands for Thomas Dormer the maker of the pipe. I believe there was knock off pipes made with those markings too. This is what I remember from number of years ago so you may want to look it up yourself.
