🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Cleaned buckle

Cleaned these buckles and part buckle from 1870 church site/ cavalry spot. Can't see it from the pic but they both say USA on them in that old font. Did a blacksmith make these or are they machine made? Did blacksmiths mark work with USA or US? I couldn't find any specific info online

oh. ,, I must have missed that in your post. That is just a generic utility harness buckle made by the thousands and not blacksmith-made.
