Good for you! In 25 years of detecting, I have found many brass thimbles but only one silver.

I started detecting in 1984 and found a silver one quickly but nothing but brass and aluminum one's ever since.

BTW. I've seen two, I believe, gold ones posted here. Wouldn't that be a thrill!
