Cleaned up this weekend

Hi folks -

Wanted to take a minute and give you guys a quick look at my finds for the weekend... and add that I am one tired puppy....

I hunted at the ACL festival site on Sat. and Sun., for a couple of hours on Sat., and almost all day on Sun... The ring I was to be looking for unfortunately did not make it's presence know, however I found another one, and I posted an ad on Craigslist to see if I can locate the owner. It's just a plain 14K man's band, inscribed with initials and a wedding date.

I also found 2 other silver rings and some sort of religious medal.

In the coin department: just one word - WOW. I surpassed all of my previous records for amount and total # of coins found... I ended up on Sun. evening with a total of 401 coins, and somewhere around $40. There were pocket spills everywhere, and gobs and gobs of quarters... plus I found 2 Sac dollars... the best part is, I haven't finished hunting all the hotspots yet! I only made it thru about half of what I wanted to hunt... given the number of coins, I don't think anyone else is or has been hunting it (unless Piggman reads this!).

I gotta get back to work, but I wanted to post a quick msg... will add details later!

Wow!!1 Hook up the IV Jack and get back out there. Congrats on the finds and good luck on the rest. Make sure you beat Pigman or he'll take it all. lol.

I haven't hit the other half of the site yet - I didn't realize there were stages on the other side, too... I was originally going to be hunting for a lady's wedding ring (18K w/32 diamonds!) but realized real quick that it wasn't gonna be easy - there's prolly a million pull-tabs in this ground....

BUT - the grounds that was walked on is worn flat and the grass is almost completely gone, so if the ring is on the ground, I should be able to see it... PLUS - the areas that were covered with either a tent or a stage, or some other kind of vendor thingy are all nice and green, so I basically have a map of where the hotspots are!

There were 65,000 people a day for 3 days at this thing, so I know I'm nowhere near finding the bulk of it... there were also several digital cameras and cell phones lost there, and I'm in contact with the owners, so I may have more ambassadorial opportunities!
