Yea, it was a magazine. The stripper clips were what we used in the M1s. The thing is, he tried to borrow one from the police and they said no it was illegal, BEFORE the show. It's up to $1000 fine and up to , I think 5 years in jail. Frank

Yeah, they have clips for the SKS also but I don't like the way they load. Mine will jam often if not hand loaded.

My SKS uses a 30 round duckbill mag.I dont like the duckbill mags.There is a mod that can be done so you can use the regular round 30 mags.Soon as i can get to it i intend to have a smith do it.Packer if yours jams while using a 30 round mag and you still use the wood stock.The stock might be the cause.It may be squeezing the upper area of the mag and interfering with correct operation of it.

I think the high cap mag issue is way overblown . Aim small =miss small . 'Spray and Pray' would work , I guess , if your particular gods are listening that day .

I'm in California. 30-rounders are illegal here. Reloading is just a minor distraction though, the 10-round limit is just something to make tree-huggers feel like they are making a difference. If I were to decide to go off and I didn't have any high-capacity mags, it would take me less than 1 day to get them. That includes the AR and 9mm pistol. If I were to go off, I wouldn't care anything about the "laws". It's all a moot point though as I wouldn't feel the need for high cap mags. A person can do nearly the same damage without them.
