I went back to the permission I went to several days ago and ran the detector low and slow to see if I missed anything, and found some more Wheat pennies, 1955, 1936 really toasted, IMG_0006.JPGIMG_0004.JPGIMG_0003.JPGIMG_0002.JPGIMG_0001.JPGIMG_0008.JPGIMG_0010.JPG and a 1909 in pretty good shape, but no S or VDB. What a bummer! I found an Infantry collar disk that would be post WWII and before 1966 when I was in. It is a convex disk so my research would put it between 1955 and 1966. Found a small buckle, not sure how old, a small amount of clad, and a Matchbox Army jeep. This was only a couple of hours hunt, but was still a little productive. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

great saves plus that jeep still has plenty of life left in it, just ask any little boy

Well done sir!

I like that collar disc... but who doesn't like crossed rifles?

Best of luck to you.
