Our metal detecting club The Coil & Diggers Club of Lane County (CDCLC.ORG) had our club outing at a 290 acre Camp in Florence Oregon today. Luckily the rain mostly held off until we were done hunting. Six members showed up ~ we all did pretty good! I dug a 1964-D Silver Washington quarter, three wheat cents 1947 1953 & 1955, 27 memorial cents, 12 nickels including a 1957, seven clad quarters, fifteen clad dimes, a Boyscout Bobcat pin, and several other misc items. We all had a great time!!

Nice hunt oddcoins!

I don't think I could do an extended hunt in these temps, I'm just too wimpy. So--kudos to you for that alone!

I hunted a section of removed-sidewalk today (can't just leave those lying around unhunted), and though I didn't find anything I was going to hunt longer, but that windchill sent me scurrying for shelter in no time.

A great day for sure! Congratualtions!!

I'm still waiting on my first "scout" find. Looks like you had a pretty good day.

Sounds like a great time!
I always seem to have more fun when hunting with friends.

Nice hunt. WTG on sticking it out with the weather.

mlw-67 GI Joes has good prices on Carhartt rain gear. It also does a great job of cutting down the wind:)

Looks and sounds like a fun day, OC! 8) Congrats!
