Im not positive but it looks like a "drilled shank" I think that would place it late 1600's- 1700s but again Im not sure.

I think timekiller would know. The Georgian Period is generally considered 1714-1811. How do we post the green check?

Is that a button you found SS? Has the exact same markings as mine.
The one in Timekillers link is, yours doesn't look the same, mine was Silver.

This button was found in central Pa. about 10 miles east of the Susquehanna River. If that helps out anymore on the identification.
