Cob coins

Ummm.. I'm not sure if you're confused or what.. Silver is highly conductive And registers around 90
Plus and minus depending on purity.
Iron registers at the low end and small rusty bits will read in the 30's
 

This 1837 half dollar is about 80% silver 20% copper and read between 84 and 86 after spending over a century and a half in a high salt environment.

alot of ppl have found reales in the 30 range regardless of it being silver idk if thats true though
 

Not me..not a real one.
If I found what I thought looked like a cob that read in the 30's I'd be positive it was fake.

How did you clean off the crud off the reale
 

50/50 acid water bath followed by electrolosis then a good long soak in distilled water.
