So I've decided to set some goals for myself to add some extra motivation to my hunts. Here they go....

Pennies - 1,000 Wheat's overall from CRH. 808 down, 196 to go
Nickels - 10 War nickels, 2,000 total pre-1960's from CRH. 1,862 down, 138 to go.
Dimes - Find a complete roll of Roosies from CRH. 31 down, 19 to go.
Quarters - I've never found a silver quarter from CRH. Ever. I don't care how many quarters I have to search, I'll find one.

I'll keep all of you posted!

Update on goals:

Pennies - 899 down, 101 to go.
Nickels - 6/10 War nickels found. 1,958 pre-1960's down, 42 to go.
Dimes - Only searched $50 in dimes this year. Still 19 to go.
Quarters - 2 found. Mission accomplished

Thanks!! I hope to be evidence that you don't have to search a large volume to get good finds. You just have to be persistent and work your territory.

Oh the dreaded solid boxes! Hopefully you get yours out of the way early in your career. I know it can be discouraging but the best thing about this hobby is you can turn right around and dump them and get your money back and start fresh again.

Thanks Sleepy. This is the second proof coin I've found in 6 years of CRH. I had to debate with myself whether or not to throw it back, but since I didn't find any silver I decided I needed some form of trophy from the skunk box.

It has been a while since I last had the chance to CRH. Between buying a house, moving, and working on the house I haven't had much time or money to CRH. Felt glad to be back in the swing of things though!
