Coffee Flat looks like a good candidate for the LDM to me. Going on some things that I’ve read it could be up there somewhere. Take for instance the doodle drawing that Waltz supposedly drew. If you look at Weavers from Coffee that’s it but only backwards. Waltz was seen going up and around there. Gold was found there. The town of Florence that he supposedly went to for supplies is directly south and close. He mentioned a hole in a mountain = Miners Needle. Maybe it’s up there, maybe it’s not.

There are more mines in the area. One is said to be abe reids low grade silver mine, two cuts in the mountain. easy to find. I have been there and so have plenty of others that I personally know.
