coils????????????

garrett ace 250 i have three coils biggest is 12in. smallest 4.5 in. do i have to have it calibrated everytime i change coils or just change them and go happy hunting

I'm not sure what you mean by "calibrate". I know you have to turn the unit off. Then change coils, then turn back on. That should be all there is to it.

As the detectorist said, just have the detector off when you plug in the different coil. The Ace is set to accept the coils that are made for the ACE 250.
