Found this today and cannot identify it. Perhaps it's not an American coin?
It is very thin. Ever so slightly larger than a US quarter.
The front is a left facing bust of a man with a beard and some wording that I cannot make out.
On the back is a 5 near the top. Above the 5 appears to be a symbol of some sort.
