Just found this at a old colonial spot of my. I see writing around and some part of a wreath. Any suggestions on what it is?

Button! To me it looks like a button. That ring and wreath look just like the back of a flat button, and there is nothing visible on the other side.

Nope, wrong!!!! Lol Its a coin. I believe its a french 1600s copper. Still working on it.
