Just for fun I have been thinking about having a coin search if anyone is interested. I was going to take a few silver coins and place them in a public park, probably St. Charles County.
Then post clues here to where the coins are located.
No metal detector or tools required just placed in a spot where they can be found if you kinda know where to look.

I havent found silver in a while that would be a good idea wish I was closer

You wouldn't travel for this? Sounds like it would be interesting.l
That's too far north for me. Pprobably run into some Yankees :)

How far South west are you, I am from Southwest MO myself, grew up on Buck Mountain Road just outside the little town of Doe Run.
Moved north after high school, Moved up past Troy several years ago, good folks around here, a few St. Louis transplants around that are a little off in the head 8-)

I'm about forty miles from the Arkansas line. Near Roaring River park. I'll have to look up Doe Run. Lot of tiny little towns around here.
Born in Colorado but grew up here basically. There are a lot of good people around the area. A few with loose screws :)

I'm only about 20 miles or so from you hillbilly. East Mcdonald county.

I just re read my post..... Doe run is south east MO :occasion14:
Thought there would be a few close by, o well I leave this open for any takers near St. Charles
