✅ SOLVED Coin???

I found this a while back but have never been able to identify it. I think it is a coin? Best i can make out it looks like 1663 with a crown on the front and the Roman numeral II on the back with the word Authority. Anybody have a clue??

Really neat find! It looks to be an Irish 2 Pennyweight of 1683. Here is the entry from "Lions Ships & Angels" (Withers) and a photo I found online.

Some history:
"By proclamation of the 6th June 1683, the Irish Government directed the rate at which foreign silver coins should be current in Ireland, and that money weights should be made to be stamped with the number of pennyweights of the weight of the coin each represented...."
