I've been digging whenever possible. It has rained daily for weeks now with brief pauses in between. It's starting to look more like summer now.

Field finds from couple weeks back. Coins are from between 1650-1900.

Took a little trip to the wilderness last weekend. Found some WW2 era coins. Perhaps soldiers camped there, who knows.

These are from today. 2 hours on pasture. Early 1700's coin, two cut coppers, 5p 1892, buckles, buttons...

And gold. 18K wedding ring from 1943 (Marked 1931).

The wife is still kicking. She can have the ring back if she wants. It belongs to the same family with the class ring. Returning their rings one by one it seems. :laughing7:

HH everyone!

Very nice finds. Please show more pics of the coins. Over here in the USA, we do not get to dig old coins like you guys, and really like to see them.

Thanks and best of luck to you!

REISKA THE ONE ITEM THAT IS CRUSHED IS THAT A BUCKLE? CANT MAKE OUT WHAT IS BESIDE IT ALSO. RING IS PERFECT AND YOU HAVE SOME NEAT COINAGE. SWEET!!!

Thank you. These coins are often just blank disks but some have detail left on them.

5 penniä 1892. It has a bit of rust from the piece of iron that was on top of it. Could that be why it's in such an awesome condition? The one next to it is a 1 ör from 1747 (?)

I have never seen these cut up like this. Both appear to be swedish copper öres from 1720's. The most common coin i find in the fields. These coins had no value what so ever. Perhaps they practiced their aim with the hatchet or something.

These are the coins from few weeks back.

Upper left: swedish 1720's 1 ör. Upper right: russian 2 kopeks 1812. Small ones are pennies from 1864-1917. The one on the right is another 1 ör from 1750. The lower one is a 1/6 ör, most likely 1666.

This was next to the russian coin.

Imperial russian military button. I'd say 1800-1850.

REISKA THE ONE ITEM THAT IS CRUSHED IS THAT A BUCKLE? CANT MAKE OUT WHAT IS BESIDE IT ALSO.

If you mean the lower items on the first picture, i have no clue what they are.

Great looking group of coins and relics!! Nice job!

Amazing finds- your country gave Germany a really hard time in the war! Especially the snipers. Lots of history to be found. Good Luck!

Thanks. I admit i've had some luck lately. Got some new land to detect on tomorrow.
