I recently found two coins. Is a 1964 nickel worth anything or a 1982 penny?

Actually you may have 7 cents, if your 1982 penny is the copper version (the mint made copper and zinc pennies in 1982, 1981 and earlier were all copper) you have 2 cents in scrap copper.
