wow a seated! awesome score!

Wow !!! nice find !!! I have hunted for years and the seated coin has evaded me and you find one in the freaking Coinstar ?? May be a good day to buy a lottery ticket !!!

Thanks guys, my first seated anything. Mastermind, I never noticed your signature. Coffee IS for closers only!

That's a cool find! My oldest silver find was from a dime roll. It was a reverse ender 1913 barber dime.

Got it under the magnifier last night but can't pull a date. Still an exciting find. I always check the reject tray and it finally paid off.

Nice find. At last result, use the Acid lifter to see the date, however that ruins the coin forever, unless you really need to know.

If the dime is silver, the nic a date won't work.

Whoa! Super nice!

Wait, you dump halves in coinstar machines?

Sure do. It is a Coinstar machine in my bank. Free when you have an account. And yes, it IS an actual Coinstar. Thought about taking a pic of it once since this has come up before and ppl were asking if it was really Coinstar. It is a credit union. Have found a silver quarter and dime in this machine before. Also, several 40% that i missed in my initial hunts have popped out when dumping. HH!

I will work on getting a high res pic up and maybe one of you coin wizards can tell me the date. There are def some visible markings, my best guess is 1887 but that is maybe 60% sure.
