Coinstar silver and lots of clad from the parking lots

We went to visit our daughter in Santa Fe, New Mexico without a detector. But you can’t keep a good finder from looking. So when I went for my morning walks I went to various parking lots and walked a grid looking for lost items. I walked for an hour each morning and in my 8 hours of walking parking lots I found 55 coins with a face value of $2.86, 2 earrings, a Lego flag, an Australian aluminum bottle opener in the shape os a kangaroo that was part of a key chain, a D ring, a hot wheels car still in the package and assorted trash and tabs that I left where they were on the pavement.

When we got home I went to the market to get groceries and found a pile in the coinstar machine. There were 2 quarters, 4 dimes, 9 pennies, 3 good luck angel tokens and a Venezuelan coin.

All 3 tokens have angels on them. The one in the middle has good luck wishes on one side, the other 2 on the ends have angels on both sides.

One of the dimes is a silver one. A 1951 S in well worn condition. The Venezuelan coin is a Dos Bolivare from 1967. Unfortunately that one is not silver.

Not a great 9 days, but at least I found something and had a little extra fun on my walks. Thanks for looking, stay safe, good luck and may your coil (and eyes) lead you to good things.

The Hotwheels is one of 5 in the 2025 Halloween Series, it's worth around $4 to $8 in the package, your's maybe a little less with the damage to the package, it could be worth more later as it ages.
