Hello T Net magicians:

I found this coke bottle the other day. It has wear that looks to me like it was refilled multiple times. The writing on it reads

side 1
Trade mark registered
in us patent office

side 2
Trede mark registered
contents 10 fl. ozs

the lower part of the bottle says 62-10

and the bottom of the bottle has a an anchor with an H superimposed over it and the number 5 below that.

Can anyone help date this bottle?

Thanks for the help

Did some looking. I think it's Anchor Hocking made glass possibly 1962. But I'm not sure. Any thoughts on it would be great I know they can be tricky to date.

It was madby the Anchor Hocking co. and the date is probably1962. I don't think Coke sold that size very long?

This 10oz size of glass bottles were very popular here in Canada in the 60s - 70s.
I remember the 28oz bottle size as well, my Mom would bring them home when we had a babysitter coming over.

Nice find,
Dave

the baby sitter probably saw the coke bottle and wanted to run from the demons it would create! haha!
