Happy New Year Jorgeke, mi amigo,
The dark coin at the bottom of your palm is a 1/4 real (State copper) issued in Chihuahua between the years 1833 and 1866. Similar coins were issued during the periods 1833-1835, 1846, 1854-56, another type issue in 1855 or a larger coin issued in various years between 1860 and 1866.
There are still ways to further narrow the date of issuance. The first issues in 1833-1835 had a diameter of 27mm. The issues of 1846 and 1854-56 had a diameter of 26mm, the issue of only 1855 had a diameter of 24mm and the issue in the '60s had a diameter of 28mm.
These old eyes see what appears to be a '5' as the third number in the date. If so, your coin was issued in either 1854, '55 or '56.

If the obverse reads ESTADO DE CHIHUAHUA, it's from 1854, '55 or '56.
If the obverse reads DEPARTMENTO DE CHIHUAHUA it is from only 1855 and measures 24 mm.

I'm guessing the twice-punched (with a square nail) coin is from during the Spanish reign of Fernando VII; 1808 and 1821.
The coin appears to be about the size of a US quarter (24mm). Closest to that size is the 2 reales coin of 27mm (smaller would be 20mm for the 1real coin; larger would be 34 mm for the 4 reales coin).

If the assayer's initials were visible and not the date, the date rate or specific years can still be stated.
Fernando, being clad in either a draped cloth or in armor, is another way to differentiate the dates of issue.
The earlier variety (1808-1812) shows him wearing armor.

The '43, 20 centatos bronze coin, is from the series 1943-1955. Over 46M were issued. The reverse shows the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan. In the background are the mountains of "IxtacXXX" and "PopoXXX".

As usual, I like both the photos and the finds. It adds interest to have Don's identification of the coins. It appears that Chihauhau was acting as a sovereign state for quite awhile, minting its own coins. The area must have a fascinating history. The big white building and the dressed stone walls are intriguing. It looks like irrigation makes some of the arid land suitable for agriculture. I wonder whether it was wetter when the old buildings were new.
As for the northern hat, I also see a jacket so it must be chilly there now?

My son came from Europe and he gave it to me as a gift, that day we were aroond 35 Fahrenheit, sensetion maybe less than 34.
