Hi all.I found this coin today by an old foundation in the woods.Its a little bigger than a US quarter,very thin and has a bust on one side.The other side is pretty well toasted.Thanks for looking and HH !

Tiffin Tokens -- the other of my favorite series. Available are both the original issue struck by Halliday for Joseph Tiffin, a Montreal merchant in 1832, and the many imitations in both brass and copper. In total Courteau lists about 25 or so varieties. Again, notice the antedating to 1812 in order to evade anti-importation regulations.

Looks like a rough young Washington bust looking right. Small bow at base of wig, but upper pony tail. Reverse looks to me like possible Brittania, which is where the date should be. Maybe KM#11-12? Is so, should have date of 1787. Needs a good soaking in extra-virgin olive oil, methinks.

Thanks y'all.I'm thinking IP may have got it....I can kinda see a seated figure on the back that lines up close to the one pictured.
