Here's some of my finds from a couple recent hunts.

Tombac buttons:

JBqhd3m.webp YHT5WUc.webp

Dandy buttons:

CejMloT.webp

HpxSEj1.webp

Coppers:
lI598pe.webp Pretty sure this is a KG III. The back is completely smooth but I can just make out a right facing bust and it lines up date wise. Open to other ideas though!

te2ZN3T.webp BaedW2n.webp 1786 Connecticut copper. Not sure exactly which variety.

Both of those coins are firsts for me. I'm glad the Connecticut is in pretty good condition!

Thanks for looking!

Just an FYI, the key was in the reverse branch being held. These are usually unique. This particular reverse is only matched up with one obverse so it wasn't too hard.

Nice ID Don. I knew I was close. There was something about the reverse I didn't like. Mostly had to do with Britania and the ornate feathers above the shield. Also a big dot under her arm holding the staff. Also evident in your ID of the reverse. Connecticuts are tough.

Beauty Conn. copper! Congrta

That Conn copper came out really nice! Did you just use peroxide?
