Went out detecting for a little bit between rain showers and dug a large copper bucket wasn't going to dig it until I saw it was copper I'm guessing maybe 1800s it weighs about 5lbs after I cleaned it off

At 2.50 a pound that's not a bad find.

No not bad about $12 for 15 min of enjoyment maybe I'll get on to something good I have found a axe head and 1830s silver close by

Don't think it was part of a still do you? Big copper stuff makes me think like that, but that shape doesn't unless it had a lid....
