Headed out today with the gang (Arty and Mom) and went back down to the field that seems like it will never dry out. First signal Arty gets a nice KG1 in between the cluster bomb of dig holes that are already in this field. I bet there isn't 10 feet square of ground we haven't covered yet and the finds are still coming. Ended up with a handful of buttons, some pieces of show buckles and a clay pipe stem. Found this neat silver spoon marked Sterling at a field before this one. Looks like its marked EB and 1691 on the back. Not sure the significance of that date but the spoon obviously isn't that old. Found my favorite button of the year so far. An ornate flower coat button. Looks late 17th early 18th century with great patina.
