Colonial Field Hunt

Today I got together with heavymetalnut for a little colonial hunt. We have hunted this field a few times in the past and have done very well. Alot of buttons and now 8 coppers from this field, and a little half reale. Today was brutal, the wind was enough to make a grown man cry and the ground was frozen solid for the most part. The bottom of my heel is bruised from POUNDING on my shovel breaking through the manure frost. I had an awesome time today, scored a nice 1834 Matron head, buttons,an early dog tax tag, a lead seal, and a neat sash buckle. Thanks for lookin folks!

You had a nice hunt. That 1834 LC is in nice shape, especially for a fertilized field. It's late December and we are still digging in the Northeast
