Good assortment of colonials from an afternoon hunt.

6 coppers include a GEO II, a merchant token a first, 1816 wholesale & retail hardware store, Halifax.
Crotal bell, small pewter spoon bowl, a coat hook ?
Copper round with "wisdom and pleasure" ?
Last signal of the hunt was the half real in decent shape.

Pretty happy with the first Spanish of the year, and glad the best copper is one I haven't found before.

Great finds! I search and I search my first Spanish silver eludes me.

It took 50,000 holes to get my first, glad the second one came much quicker.

Great finds there Rick, good looking Spanish too. You must be close to breaking a new record for "most coppers in one year"? How many had you got up so far this year?
Dave.

I got 59 colonial coppers in 2011, this year so far 56, so unless I break both legs it will be a record breaker.

THANKS everyone else, I throughly enjoyed myself.

Nice Spanish great shape

Whoa, WTG Rick! Fantastic half reale, man! I have never seen that Halifax token before. It's awesome. Thanks for sharing!!!

This is only my second spanish, the first came to me last Nov. 19. As someone told me, you'll get one.

Curious what book that is from, I have first edition charlton token book, it doesn't have that write up.

It's the 6th edition

Very nice hunt Rick. The merchant token is really cool. Congrats on Spanish #2. Your hitting the right kind of sites lately!

That Spanish silver has lots of detail. It should clean up really well. Nice coin.
