Forum,

The 3 self-proclaimed professional detectorists from the group the "3 Datectateers" got as usual on this great Sunday.
Dudes, as you may already know, we hunt with an extreme passion that has NEVER dwindled! If we ain't detecting, we are thinking about this hobby. When we talk about this hobby, we don't talk like drones...nope, we are suuuuper spastic at it.
If some baboon heard us talking, it would definitely know we had some kind of passion within.
Folks, let me tell you, our ANALOGS were juiced up and ready to pillage the doyt of all its worth! Nope, we ain't searching for them "newer" coins, as John Walter would put it.
We went searching for COLONIALS!
To make a long story suuuuper short, I was sweeping in the area where I dug my 2 coppas yesterday, when I was welcomed with a "TABS" reading.
Since this is a Colonial site, I decided to dig!
After plucking out numerous amounts of historic doyt, the greenie was in the soil!!!
I was really suprised to have dug this Colonial coppa at this kind of reading. Folks, since the coin is kind of beat up, I tumbled it for 5 minutes and brought out some da-tail.
It looks like a 1695-1701 William III Halfpenny, but it most likely is a King George III coppa!
The coin is 6.03 grams and 26.5 mm. in diameter!
I am now up to 12 coppas for the year!
Our group has 38 for the year!
To end this story, I will end it now.
I can tell you, dudes, we didn't disappoint once again! 9-0, BuckleBoy!

Keep your passion high!
Kirk

That main site is going to yield some nice coppas and Spanish wilvers again.

The main site has yielded 8 coins (nothing newer than 1830) in just two small trips.
