Hey, folks, Colonial Silver Zeus, Colonial KirkPA, and I got out to a new site today.
As Colonial KirkPA already mentioned, it took us about 1.5-2 hours of John Walter-like swinging prior to receiving anything that pertained to the Colonial era (e.g., iron trash, butt-ins, coppas, Spanish wilver, non-glazed pottery).
Well, during that 1.5-2 hours of sweeping, I heard Colonial Silver Zeus cussing like 6 drunken sailors.
I asked, "What's wrong, you looney?"
He stated, "My f%*^%$# pinpointer is uttting suuuuuuper bad."
Well, folks, about 5 minutes later, I heard a 210-pound, linebacker-sized lunker say, "You son of a b&^%% take this."
Folks, the Colonial-seeking lunker ran full speed and threw his Vibraprobe pinpointer at a nearby tree.
Let me just say that he later snapped the darn thing into two halves soon after.

Well, folks, after Colonial KirkPA and Colonial Silver Zeus were yelping out their Colonial artifacts, I got a nice "P" on "Penny" reading on my White's XL Pro 6000. I dug out a square nail and, in the same exact hole, I excavated this AWESOME Colonial magnifying glass.
A square nail in the same exact hole with a Colonial artifact...that's about the 10th time that has happened.
Folks, the glass is still in it, and it was found in the same area where the coppas were found.
This happy gibbon and the other datectateers are going baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack next Sundy (Sunday).
Thanks for looking, fellow metal datecting enthusiasts!

I received a sharp signal this time, and said to myself, kind of like John "Johnny" Walter would do, "I'll be damned...another signal...I'll be damned."
I am super glad that I am a careful gibbon when it comes to digging out Colonial artifacts.
