Went out on my days off to 3 sites. 1st day,2 different sites. I got a nice dropped musketball and a couple of buttons. I figured it was a successful day at that point so I stopped at my cellar I've been going to since 2015. I wasn't going to be upset if I didn't find anything. I found a fugio there so I just keep going back even though I get blanked a lot. The last 3 times,I've found stuff there though. I spent a hour and didn't find anything so I was on my way out and still swinging and got the faintest solid high tone. This part is right near a area where people have thrown trash through the years so I thought it might be a can .However, the XY screen was showing straight. I dug down over a foot and pulled out a beautiful colonial shoe buckle.1720-90. That's why I keep going back 😁 Today I decided to hit the spot that I found the Canadian bank token. The first half hour was slow but as the it started to get hot and the skeeters came out, I started hitting stuff. My first target was a coin which was a nice surprise since I've never found one here. Other highlights were 2 knives with handles,a whale oil part with some wick and a cool suspender or clasp. I've never seen anything like this, maybe someone knows. You can read the writing from the front but you can see it in back. When I got home and cleaned the coin, it was a 1869 Indian,a key date!!! I don't want this season to end.

Ox shoe too! Great that the buckle is intact. Often, the chape and frame separate because the iron pin rusts out.
