Colonial shoe buckle with backmark?

Possibly a children's buckle because of how small it is. I was surprised when I cleaned it to see a neat design and possible maker's mark! It looks like it says LH 24 or LH 84. Possibly LH/24 or LH/84. Still searching for that complete buckle but I love finding these!

That's very interesting. I have found many shoe buckles, but never one with anything resembling a back mark. Cool.
