Ware that is. :laughing7: The excal keeps given it up. When I picked this up I thought it was copper but the color was more black then verdigris green. The scratch test confirms it's silver. I think the marks on it are Inventory marks? I don't think there just cut marks from being in the ground, they stop short of the side profile. Maybe some one can elaborate more on this? Thanks for looking HH :icon_thumright:

My thought is trade arrow but I thought they were almost always brass. Its cool whatever it is.

Hey Brokenknee Nice find ! I know you have been looking for that old silver to go with the coppers you have been finding in that field ! So congradulations ! I was kinda expecting a coin but the early spoon piece works too ! Cut By the plow ?? should be more of it there somewhere ?? anyways nice find :thumbsup: MaineRelic.
