Hi to all ! I posted this on todays finds earlier, thought I'd get it into this thread as well . This past winter was hard on me and my heart, yesterday my brother decided it was time to get me out of the house and into the sun, 65 here in Colorado yesterday and the ground is finally thawed at our altitude (8,500 to 10,000 ft ) he took me to our little dump we've been hittin for a couple of years, we only found a few bottles, but 3 were good ones ! 2 ,1901 Cripple Creek loop seal beers, and a 1900 rarer 8oz Cripple Creek druggist. Needless to say my brothers unexpected visit sure made me feel alot better ,there is nothing like the sun and mountains and a few good bottles to brighten your day. Keep your shovels dirty !!

Hey Charlie,

Congratulations on a nicely productive dig, sir. I admire that CR Lewis & Co., always loved the druggists that were opposite the Opera House, National Hotel, et al.

I'm looking forward to seeing these after their bath.

Awesome finds!!

Great finds Charlie, glad to see you're getting out and doing some bottle digging. Stay thirsty my friend.

so even after all these yrs the medicine bottles work powerful magic! That & the Coloradish sun should set ya right!

Thanks to all ! Surf, when I first moved to the Creek, the back walls of the National were still there, many, many years later I watched them get bulldozed for a casino, G.R. Lewis's store still stands it is in the bottom south east corner of the elks building. I have many pic's of it with all the signs and morter & pestle. G.R.s are pretty common but not in the bigger sizes.

Nice pics you to took pike local druggist are always nice to find . I know the winter tough this year my post was the first of the year too.
