Also, I want to encourage any and all responses to give insight into any and all locations you've had luck with in colorado.
 

If you join the GPAA or the Gold Prospectors of Colorado you'll have more choices. Cache Creek is fine, but it gets so crowded. It's probably a little better now they don't allow any motorized equipment, all hand sluicing and metal detecting.
 

I am already a member of the GPAA. I've been considering the colorado gold prospectors. Do they have a lot of claims? I have been unable to find a listing of all their claims and locations.
 

The GPOC won't tell you where their claims are until you join, it's only $25 for a family or $18 for a single person. They have two or three claims, one for sure is in Fairplay at Beaver Creek.
 

What county you guys talkin in for Fairplay and Beaver creek ? Chafee ?
What county you guys talkin in for Cache creek ? Chafee ?

Maybe i can find the GPOC claims, no guarantee though need the county though!

Cache creek is in Chaffee county for sure I do not know about the other.
