Hello all.

Just moved to Colorado Springs recently and bought a metal detector. Been hitting a few local parks but thats it. 1940 nickel is the best thing I've found so far.

If anyone in the area wants to go together, hit me up. I can help pay for gas etc.

If its over 35 degrees out im willing to go out.

I'm even newer to detecting than you are! I don't have a detector yet... but will be picking one up soon. I live in Castle Rock, so I would guess that we aren't too far apart. If you'd be open, I'd like to come along with you sometime soon and watch/help you on a hunt...

I’d suggest you join a local prospecting or metal detecting club to get good info. Gold Prospectors of Colorado is based in the Springs and has some avid detectorists.
