Hi folks.

Smudge had decided it was just too hot to metal detect these days, but the Compadre was itching to get used again. So I hit a couple of parks this morning.

It was terribly hot and I was done by noon, but there was a morning breeze that made everything feel, dare I say it, "bearable"? :hello2:

Well, you can see by the bucket shot I had a fair mix of garbage and treasure. After a couple of hours, I got tired of digging foil, so I cranked up my discrimination a bit and said "bye-bye" to small gold rings.

No gold this time ("this time" try almost every time :tongue3:). Not even quarters. But I did hit some loose change and found a couple of interesting items and what looks like a dope spoon. Blah. Modern times. >:(

Oh yes, and 27 pull tabs. That brings my pull tab bag to a total of 365! :hello2:

Anyway, not much to show today but I did get outside some and got a bit of exercise. Hope y'all had fun too this weekend! :icon_thumleft:

Hats off to you Smudge.

It is way too hot down here for me to hunt parks during the summer. I don't start hunting parks until mid October.

Nope, it's the beaches for me.

Next time gold :icon_thumleft:
